Olive oil can restore black plastic s natural color clearing up any faded or discolored areas. Or paint them with a black gloss hammerite paint. I said we needed brown as everything else was brown and it d look daft. The colour is bonded to become part of the upvc instead of adhering to the surface as it did in the early years of manufacture when fading was an issue.

Reply 12 on. He went off and came back saying the deep flow brown plastic guttering was way more expensive than the black plastic so didn t go for it as he thought we would find it too expensive.
